A 100 gun ship is not a frigate. It is called a Ship-of-the-Line, and is a First rate ship, and therefor a Three-decker, having three gun decks to accomodate those 100 guns.
Frigates were mostly fifth rate, for big 32 to 44 gun, and sixth rate, for 20 to 28 guns, ships.
A ship being a square rigged vessel with three masts.
