Imagine the hell on the receiving end. This was her last time firing the 16 inch guns, February 23, 1991, off the Eastern coast of Iraq. The crew fired them at Iraqi troops on Feylaka Island.
Interestingly, the USS Wisconson used UAVS as spotters. When the second salvo was about to fire, the UAV operators flew the spy planes low enough for the Iraqi troops to hear them, and they knew they were being spotted. Upon hearing the UAV for the second time, the Iraqis signalled a surrender.
