HMS Astute, Stuck In Mud In Scotland, Now Freed.

by Daniel Russ on October 24, 2010

The HMS Astute is considered by many to be the most advanced nuclear submarine in the world. It carries torpedos and Tomahawk Cruise missiles. It has a crew of 98 servicemen and officers and has a 25 year nuclear battery. It also makes it’s own air and clean water, so it can stay submerged for up to three months when it has to reload food.
