The Hunting H.126

Hunting H.126

The Hunting H.126 was an X plane designed and constructed in the United Kingdom. The idea here was to test the aerodynamic qualities of blown flaps.

This is the only aircraft built. It once was tested in the US, but now sits in an aircraft museum in Cosford, England.

It was a plane built only for test. In fact it could be the only jet powered aircraft in the world with non retractable landing struts.

Those Brits.
