US World War II Tank Factory 1942

German armor vehicle production included Italian, Hungarian and Czechoslovakian factories, and as such churned out 53,1887 tanks and self-propelled guns of all calibers. Compare that with the Soviet production numbers, where they produced 58,681 T-34s alone. The IS-2 had a 122mm cannon and Russia put 3,500 of them on the battlefield. Plus 3,500 SU-100s, and this did not include their KV series of heavy tanks.

The Germans manufacturers 94,622 combat aircraft, the Japanese built 76,320 aircraft. The Russians put up 158,000 aircraft and the U3 put up 343,000 aircraft and the British put up 131,589 aircraft.

At this point in the war, there were three Russians dead for every two Germans dead. This was a waiting game, a gambit that Germany could not win, and Russia could.

The Axis powers never really had a chance.
