The DFS 193 was designed to be a two-seat tailless airplane, with a high wing monoplane that allowed the pilot to see unnocluded. Therefore this was designed as an observation plane.

designed to explore the military potential of this layout. It was powered with a 240 hp engine This plane was cool, like all of Lippisch imaginative designs. But this plane died in the windtunnel.
