The Aerfer Ariete, or Ram, was a twin engine single seat jet fighter prototype made for the Italian Air Force. Two models were made in 1958, both based on a previous single seat fighter configuration called the Arfer Sagittareo.

It was powered by a Rolls Royce Soar RS2 engine and a Rolls Royce Derwent jet, and was said to reach 600 mph in tests and a service ceiling of almost 40,000 feat. The tandem engine configuration was the only of its kind. It was 11 feet high and 27 feet long and featured the newest sweep wing design for supersonic fighters.

Despite the dual engines, it was under-powered and never made it into production.
