The DIY Armored Personnel Carrier Built By The Polish Underground.

MPW_Kubus_1

Built in 1942, the Kubus was a Chevy 157 truck with steel plates welded to protect it from small arms fire. It was meant to carry 20 some odd resistance fighters into battle. It did not have the power or protection to successfully serve as an assail platform. The Poles were fearless and attacked Nazi strongholds during the Warsaw uprising in this DIY APC. This one is in the Polish Army Museum.
