More Tuskegee Airmen Memorabilia.

This week I have been thinking about the Tuskegee Airmen and found a treasure trove of photos and paperwork and identifications that still exist detailing the actions of the Tuskegee Airmen. All these are found on the great Tuskegee Airmen Facebook page.

Captain Roscoe C. Brown Jr. is helped to strap in to his P-51D Mustang by his crew chief. Brown flew with the100th FS, 332nd FG. Captain Brown is credited with destroying an FW 190 and an Me 262 in aerial combat.

Lt. Earl Lane of the 100th FS, 332nd FG and his ground crew with their P-51 Mustang “Dearly Beloved” #31. Lane was credited with shooting down an Me 262 on March 24, 1945.
