Project Quiet Bird.

by Daniel Russ on June 17, 2013

In 1963, patents were filed out of Wichita, Kansas by aircraft designers. They were putting forward a radical new design for a trapezoidal aircraft design that featured a dorsal intake duct and aerodynamic winglets. This plane would reflect radar waves upwards and would have been powered by a jet engine. Only this model is available and some drawings.

This was the Quiet Bird project.
