The Westland WG33 was developed as a two man reconnaissance helicopter for the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense. The single axle rotor turbine was to be powered by a Plessey Meon turboshaft engine or one/two piston engines. The controls were meant to be easy enough to fly so that in a single day anyone can fly it. The mock up was stored in a Royal Navy aircraft museum.
