Chinese Mint New Coinage Featuring Their First Aircraft Carrier.

by Daniel Russ on January 7, 2013

“The Chinese Navy’s first aircraft carrier Liaoning,” is on each coin in Mandarin, for denominations of 10, 300 and 2000 and 200 yuan.  You know you are dealing with a newly militarized and confident China when they commemorate an aircraft carrier only months after it’s first trap. We should expect to see a new Chinese foreign policy that takes asserts its own control of the South China Seas.
