The DINFIA IA 38 Argentinian Flying Wing Transport Plane

Just when I think I have seen all the experimental aircraft ever made in the world, here comes another one. Introducing the IA 38 flying wing transport aircraft based on the work of Reimer Horton. It was wide V-shaped flying wing with the fuselage and the transport chamber added below the forward crook of the wing. The transport chamber could carry 154,000 pounds of payload. It had a tricycle type retractable wheels and ran on four propeller driven radial engines by El Gaucho.

It flew in 1960 and due to underpowered engines it had an underpowered performance.
