I do not know exactly where these were sourced. I found a website called Dieselpunks, an online community for the Punk culture. On One of the editors is a Russian national who has unearthed some early Soviet tank designs and posted them on the website. I will share some of them with you and a paraphrased description of the proposed weapon system. If you want more you will have to go to the website and I encourage you to join. It’s interesting and chocked full of great old military desiderata.

This first device was a proposed armored roller, which was activated by rolling heavy vehicles inside the machine. The vehicles inside would be synched with gears that turns inside the outer cylinder. The idea also included space for people, heavy weapons store and so forth.
