Fred Landgraf had dream of building helicopters for the US Government. He developed the H-2 while working in Los Angeles. The H-2 first flew on 2 November 1944 and the company was awarded a development contract by the United States Army. The H-2 was not developed further or bought and the company ceased operations by the end of the 1940s. He built it with twin vertical rotors and a fixed tricycle landing gear. While Landgraf won a development contract for the H2 in 1944, the company went out of business before the prototype was built.
